That’s why we at Real Relief are proud to support the powerful work of the Period Pride Campaign, a grassroots movement dedicated to breaking the stigma around menstruation and providing sustainable menstrual solutions to those who need them most.🩸

Making an Impact in Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe

Led by a passionate team of changemakers, the Period Pride Campaign is currently active in Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe, where menstruation can often mean missing school, staying isolated, or facing embarrassment due to lack of proper menstrual care.

The campaign brings together education, advocacy, and product distribution — reaching communities with both practical support and the message that periods are nothing to hide.

Meet Thelma – A Driving Force Behind Period Pride

At the heart of this campaign is Thelma, one of its co-founders and a dedicated advocate for menstrual equity. Thelma works tirelessly on the ground, visiting schools, villages, and community centers — not just to hand out products, but to open up conversations, challenge harmful taboos, and provide vital knowledge about menstrual and reproductive health.

Her mission is simple but profound: to ensure that every menstruator has the tools and information they need to manage their period with dignity, safety, and pride.
