HeartCup Wave - Cleaning Cup / Sterilizing Cup

HeartCup Wave is the ideal solution for women with busy schedules who want a quick and practical way to sterilize their menstrual cup. This smart folding cup makes it easy to maintain the hygiene and safety of your HeartCup in just a few minutes, perfectly fitting into a busy lifestyle.

With a size of 77 mm in diameter, 17 mm when folded, and 7.7 cm when unfolded, the HeartCup Wave has sufficient capacity to accommodate your HeartCup and sterilize it effectively. It has a capacity of 150 ml, ensuring your HeartCup is properly cleaned and ready for use.

Using the HeartCup Wave is simple and convenient. Place your HeartCup in the HeartCup Wave as shown in the picture, then fill it 3/4 with water. It is important not to close the lid completely, as the boiling water can create pressure. Then, place the HeartCup Wave in the microwave for a few minutes. Note that your microwave's settings may vary, so it's important to follow the recommendations. Always remember to let your HeartCup cool down before removing it, as it can be hot and prevent burns. The HeartCup Wave is designed to withstand temperatures up to 230°C and can be safely cleaned in the dishwasher.

User manual HeartCup Wave is an easy and practical way to sterilize your HeartCup. Place your HeartCup in the HeartCup Wave as shown in the picture. HOW TO FOLD

The C-fold

Before folding your Heartcup, relax and always make sure that both your cup and your hands are thoroughly
cleaned.


There are different ways to fold your Heartcup. You will soon discover which one works best for you. As with anything new, it may take a few tries before you feel confident. But don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it.

The C‑fold is created by pressing the cup together in the middle and folding it to form a C‑shape. As shown in these images, it is a very simple folding technique that can be learned quickly. After insertion, once the cup is in place, the Heartcup will unfold and create a seal that keeps the cup securely in position.

The Punch-Down Fold

This folding technique makes the Heartcup smaller for insertion.


You press one side of the cup inward.


After insertion, we recommend checking that it has fully unfolded and that the sealing function has been created.

HOW TO WASH

Sterilize

We recommend sterilizing your Heartcup before using it for the first time and then once a month; either at the beginning or at the end of your menstrual cycle.

Follow these steps:

Fill a pot with water, making sure there is enough water for the menstrual cup not to touch the bottom.

Bring the water to a boil, then add the Heartcup

(Note: If the cup is not clean, wash it with water and mild soap before sterilizing).

Let the Heartcup sit in the boiling water for 4–6 minutes.

Before removing it, wash your hands. Then remember to let the Heartcup cool down before inserting it. There is no need to dry it.

After removing the cup, empty the fluid into the toilet, sink or shower.

Use a mild soap that does not contain harmful ingredients for your body.

Rinse with cold water first, then wash under warm water.

Heartcup-User Instructions

  • Heartcup- Insert

    1. Wash your hands with soap or SuperTowelTM
    2. Fold the cup
    3. With one leg up, insert the Cup still folded
    4. When the cup is inserted, and let it unfold by releasing it
    5. Turn and twist a little to place
    6. When the cup is inserted correctly you can’t feel it
    7. If you can feel it remove the cup and reinsert

  • Heartcup- Remove

    1. Wash your hands with soap or SuperTowelTM
    2. Hold the bottom of the cup and slide your index finger and press the cup body slightly to let in some air
    3. Pleace note to hold the bottom of the cup when you drag it out to prevent overflow
    4. Pour out the blood in the sink or the toilet
    5. Wash the cup and your hands with soap or SuperTowelTM
    6. Reinsert
    7. Once a month, cleanse the cup for 5 minutes in boiling water
