      How to Heartcup

      How to Fold

      C-Fold

Before folding your Heartcup, relax and always make sure that your cup and hands are well cleaned. There are different ways to fold your Heartcup. You will soon realize which one is the best for you.As with everything new, it might take a few tries before feeling confident with it. But, surely, you will get to it!

The C-fold is created by punching the cup in the middle and folding it to form a C shape. As seen on these pictures it is a very easy folding techniques that can be quickly learned. After inserting it, when it will be in place, Heartcup will unfold and form a seal that can keep the cup held securely.

      How to Fold

      The Punch Down Fold

This folding technique makes Heartcup smaller to insert.

You need to Punch Down one side of the cup internally.

After inserting it we recommend checking that it unfolded correctly and that the seal is formed.

      How to Wash Heartcup

      sterilize

      We recommend sterilizing your
Heartcup before using it for the first time and then once a month; either at
the start or at the end of your menstrual cycle.

      Follow these steps:

-Fill up a pot with water,
enough so the menstrual cup will not touch the bottom.

-Bring to a boil, then add
Heartcup ( Note: If the cup is not clean, wash it with water and mild soap
      before sterilizing it).

-Let Heartcup be in the boiling
      water for 4-6 minutes.

-Before taking it out wash your
hands. Then remember to wait for Heartcup to cool down prior to
inserting it. There is no need to dry it.

How to clean Heartcup between changes

      Wash

       Always wash your
      hands before and after.

      After removing the cup, empty
the liquid in the toilet, sink or shower. Rinse first with cold water, then
      wash it under warm water.

       Use a mild soap, that
doesn't contain harmful ingredients for your body.

How to clean Heartcup between changes

      Wash

Check the air holes: if they
are clogged, clean them being sure to unblock them completely.

      Note:
If you are in a public toilet and don't have access to a mild soap, it is

at home you can wash it properly. You may also think about prepare before hand,
either by carrying with you water and mild soap or Supertowel; or by bringing
